Although the presumed origins of "Kelly" Green are Irish, we prefer to believe that the term comes from the girl in the wawa sweatshirt, pictured above, whose name is most certainly Kelly. We strongly suspect that Preppy Scientist's choice of Kelly Green shirt indicates his desire to become romantically involved with this keenly sweatshirted lady.
